Intex launches projector phone
V.Show is able to project movies, pictures, videos onto any wall, flat surface
Mobile phone, IT hardware and electronics manufacturer, Intex Technologies, is launching its V.Show mobile handset in the Middle East.
The handset features an inbuilt projector, which can project movies, pictures, music videos and internet content onto a wall or flat surface, with a high intensity projection of 10 lumens and QWVGA resolution on a projection screen of up to 70-inches.
"The V.Show provides the very latest developments in mobile entertainment. In the gadget-led market of the UAE we believe that this new model will soon become the ‘must have' handset for the technologically-minded population here," said MD Iqbal, business manager, Intex Technologies FZCO.
The V.Show is designed to be able to receive multimedia content through GPRS, to allow content to be streamed. A user can also plug external amplifiers or headphones into the device to enhance audio quality.
The V.Show is designed to be able to power a feature-length movie, shown in a film quality of 25 Frames Per Second (FPS).
"V-Show is also a duel-SIM handset. This makes it particularly attractive to the expatriate community here, as they can now use a mobile that carries a local SIM and a SIM from their home country. This will save the user time and money when making and receiving calls from home."
The touchscreen phone is a Dual SIM (GSM + GSM), it also comes with front and rear-facing cameras and a dual card memory slot of 8GB.
The V.Show is FM radio enabled, has GPRS connectivity and has a 3.2-inch super colour, dust resistant touch screen.
The V.Show handset launches in the UAE this month and will be available at all leading retailers, including Sharaf DG, Emax, Ansar Mall, Safeer Mall, Costless, Geant Hypermarket and Hyper Panda.
