New Computer Street store for Eros
Eros Digital Home opens new store in Dubai to serve traditional retail zone
Eros Digital Home has opened a new retail store on Dubai's Computer Street.
The Bur Dubai outlet, which covers 5,000 square feet, will include a wide range of products, and will target shoppers in one of Dubai's busiest districts.
Deepak Babani, CEO of Eros Group said, "As an advanced and innovative retailer of technology, Eros goes to great lengths to evaluate the needs of customers and provide them with value addition on top of excellent products. Our return to Bur Dubai is based on popular demand from our valuable customers, and we are back with a larger and improved format showcasing an extensive range of world-class brands and products serviced by a dedicated team of professionals and offering much more than conventional retail - the design, layout, visual displays and customer-focused service will add to the total shopping experience."
The store is the largest one for the group, and will showcase a range of product categories, including digital products, mobiles, IT products and accessories, home appliances, personal care and photographic. Brands available include Samsung, Hitachi, BenQ, TCL, Nokia, Sony Ericsson, Cisco Linksys Candy and Canon. The store also includes an in-house service centre.
"Retailers today want to establish their presence in every shopping mall in the UAE, which is a tried and tested formula that gives a safety blanket to the operators and guarantees high footfall. Eros too has its Digital Homes across the popular malls in UAE, but we are taking on the challenge of going back to traditional shopping destinations like high street shopping areas. So far we have succeeded because, since it's opening in January, the store has had an exceptional sales performance, particularly during this DSF," he said.
"The launch of the new store in the strategic area of Bur Dubai is an important milestone for us. It goes to articulate our journey in the past 40 years. The store is testimony to Eros' continued importance to Dubai's retail industry, and its contribution towards economic growth in the Emirate. The opening of this new store also expresses our commitment to move closer to our customers and become the technology destination of choice for them," Babani added.
