Sony unleashes new colourful storage device
Microvault Style comes in pink, white, lime green has various storage sizes
Sony Corporation has launched the new Microvault Style, a colourful mini-USB and an entry-level addition to the Microvault family of USB drives.
The mini-USB has a capless design which fits into a PC USB port and weighs in at 4g.
The device is 4.6mm thick and is available in 4GB, 8GB and 16GB capacities with a choice of white, or limited-edition pink and lime green colour options.
The device also has a strap hole to attach it to a keyring, phone or MP3 player.
The new USB uses quick drive identification to assign a unique drive name to the device to allow quick recognition. The Microvault Style is designed to work with compact devices such as netbook and notebook PCs and displays a glowing yellow-green light once files are transferring.
Sony Microvault Style offers free software such as File Rescue, which recovers accidently deleted files, x-Pict Story which creates slideshows for users and Picture Motion Browser designed to make it easy to upload slideshows on sharing sites, such as YouTube.
