BenQ launches new mini-camcorder
Pocket-sized device can record in Full HD
BenQ has launched a new pocket-sized 1080p Full HD M22 camcorder to add to its camcorder line-up. The new BenQ M22 features AF lock, face exposure tracking, touch exposure and EIS (Electronic Image Stabiliser), designed to allow users to capture moments on the go.
"The new BenQ M22 is designed to be the perfect on-the-go accessory. Its convenient pocket size together with the versatility of a dual power supply, which can be charged both through a power adaptor or USB cable, enables the BenQ to travel easily from important celebrations to day trips to long vacations," said Manish Bakshi, general manager of BenQ for the Middle East and Africa.
The BenQ M22's AF lock is designed to ensure that captured videos are blur-free with good clarity and true colours.
The AF lock comes in particularly useful for users when there are moving objects in the background of the shot or when lighting conditions are unstable, according to BenQ. The AF lock is designed to keep the focus set on the user's desired subject whilst maintaining the chosen lighting mode.
The face exposure tracking is designed to automatically detect faces and adjust the exposure to ensure faces are always rendered in detail and natural colours, while the touch exposure tracking feature is designed to allow users to make exposure adjustments by tapping the 3-inch touchscreen.
The M22 also comes with night mode and backlight compensation features which support users when recording during the night or when a subject is dark, due to a bright background light. It also features a motion detection feature which auto-starts recording once movement is detected.
The BenQ M22 is priced at AED699.00 and will be available in the UAE from mid-February 2011.
