Cisco expands Entrepreneur Institute
Dubai Chamber of Commerce will hold Entrepreneur Institute workshops
Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry has become a Cisco Entrepreneur Institute. The Dubai Chamber of Commerce will hold Entrepreneur Institute workshops for small and medium enterprise business owners and entrepreneurs interested in starting, growing and tech-enabling their businesses.
"As part of its strategic objectives of creating a favourable business environment and supporting the development of business, Dubai Chamber has been providing regular educational seminars, business decision-making and credit rating tools, as well as demand-driven advisory services to all its members and stakeholders. Now through this new service, the Chamber will be offering practical online training workshops that will aid the business community in starting and growing a business, and improving in ICT skills and management which will further help promote growth and competitiveness in the business community," said Dr Belaid Rettab, senior director, Economic Research and Sustainable Business Development Sector, Dubai Chamber.
The Dubai Chamber and Knowledge Horizon in collaboration with Cisco, the Entrepreneur Institute Training Center for UAE, will continue to build and foster entrepreneurship in Dubai and throughout the region. The Dubai Chamber will deliver Entrepreneur Institute workshops both to Dubai Chamber members and non-members from the private sector as well as individuals, who would like to learn how to grow business successfully, and improve their the ICT and management skills. The workshops can be delivered virtually to allow businesses no matter where their location to participate.

The Entrepreneur Institute will be holding core workshops including: Starting a Business, Growing a Business and iExec Enterprise Essentials.
The first workshops will start in February 2011.
