EMC appoints new Saudi general manager
Mohamed Talaat will now be in charge of driving development of the business in the Kingdom
Information infrastructure solutions company EMC has appointed Mohamed Talaat as general manager of the company's Saudi operations.
Talaat will be based in Riyadh and is now responsible for driving the strategic development of EMC business in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
He will focus on furthering the growth of EMC operations, strengthening strategic customer and channel partner relationships in the Kingdom.
Talaat has over 19 years of experience in enterprise IT solutions and business management.

With his experience and leadership, I am confident that he will execute the right vision and strategy for EMC's business in Saudi Arabia and help bring our customers' satisfaction to higher levels while broadening our relationships with local channel partners," said Mohammed Amin, vice president & general manager of EMC Turkey, Middle East and Africa. Talaat has worked at Microsoft Saudi as a director, Enterprise and Partner Group, for four years where he also managed the Enterprise Sales Division and developed strategies to enhance loyalty and overall customer and partner satisfaction. He also spent over 12 years at Oracle as a manager for Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Business Intelligence and Warehousing for Oracle in Egypt.
