LG introduces designer 3D glasses
Glasses are made of metal, have spring-hinged arms
LG Electronics is introducing designer 3D glasses. The glasses were designed in conjunction with French eyewear maker Alain Mikli and combine style with LG's 3D viewing technology, according to LG.
"Numerous studies have shown that of all the challenges facing 3D technology acceptance, the glasses always rank near the top," said HS Paik, president of LG Electronics Gulf. "The fact is, 3D viewing glasses don't have to be ugly and uncomfortable. We've just proven that with Monsieur Mikli's help in creating what are probably the best, most stylish 3D glasses in the world."
The new 3D glasses are designed to be comfortable, fashionable and practical and instead of being made of plastic, are made of metals.
The glasses are based around an ergonomic design and have the optimum weight ratio both at the front and back, designed to prevent users feeling tired over long periods of wearing them.
The 3D glasses also feature a nose pad, designed to keep them in place and have spring-hinged arms designed to ensure a close fit around a users head.
LGs 3D glasses will be available globally with LG's 2011 new premium 3D TVs.
