EMC introduces new partner program to support SMB systems
New Authorised Reseller Program to drive sales of VNXe storage system
EMC has launched a new partner program, to help drive sales of its recently announced VNXe SMB-targeted storage system.
The company released the VNXe, which combines Storage Area Networks (SAN) and Network Attached Storage (NAS), last week. The solutions have an entry-level price point of under $10,000, and have been designed to be easily configurable for SMB-level organisations.
To support the VNXe, EMC has created a new Authorized Reseller program for partners of any size, which will provide training and resources focused on the VNXe systems. EMC says that by using it QuickStart training, which uses e-learning and short videos, partners can gain the necessary skills for basic implementation and support services for the VNXe, within three hours.
For partners aspiring to join the EMC Velocity Solution Provider Program, the VNXe series makes it easier than ever to attain the minimum training and revenue requirements of the Affiliate tier to enjoy all the benefits and resources the program offers.
The program will also provide dedicated demand generation, marketing support and advertising of the VNXe series, and a simple online ordering process for partners to custom-configure systems to a customer's requirements.
