Samsung reveals AFC Asian Cup Qatar 2011 promotion
Winners of the Samsung "Support Your Country" competition will go to the AFC Asian Cup Qatar 2011 to support their team.

As the official mobile partner of the AFC Asian Cup Qatar 2011, Samsung Electronics is launching a "Support Your Country" promotion, which runs until December 31, 2010.

Samsung is offering an all expenses paid trip for two to Qatar to cheer on their team during the AFC Asian Cup in Qatar. The tournament is being held from January 7 to January 29.

"Our customers are passionate about enjoying the most exciting technology in the world, and for many people that enthusiasm extends to supporting their national team in the sporting world,"  said Marco Vocale, head of Corporate Marketing at Samsung Gulf Electronics.  "Through our technology and this promotion, we are pleased to offer consumers in UAE the chance to attend AFC Asian Cup Qatar 2011 and share the thrill of the game with their family and friends."

To enter, customers have to buy a Samsung mobile worth AED700 or more from any Samsung retailer before December 31, 2010. They will then be automatically entered into the "Support Your Country" draw. The winners will be announced on January 2 in Dubai and January 3 in Qatar.

Products that are part of the promotion include the Samsung Galaxy Tab and the Samsung Galaxy S family of smartphones.
