Agilysys opens Dubai office to serve Middle East
John Hathaway, regional manager for the Middle East will head up the Dubai office.

Agilysys has announced the opening of a new office in Dubai to help support demand from the region's growing hospitality sector.

The company, which produces hospitality technology and software solutions, has opened the office in Dubai Internet City to build its business in the region, and to serve existing customers such as Hyatt Hotels, Jumeirah Restaurants, Al Ain Safari Park and Al Jazira Stadium.

The Dubai office will be headed up by John Hathaway, regional manager for the Middle East, who has been responsible for business development, general office, team management and strategic growth in the region.

"The Middle East is one of the fastest-growing tourism markets in the world, and we have expanded our presence significantly in the region during the last five years," said Tina Stehle, senior vice president and general manager of Agilysys Hospitality Solutions Group. "There is a strong demand here for integrated technology solutions that can power hotels, resorts, theme parks, restaurants and other hospitality venues, and our customers select us for our comprehensive product suite as well as for our knowledgeable staff and our approach to doing business. We are confident this is the right time to put down roots in Dubai, and we have high expectations for our new office."

Agilysys produces a range of solutions tailored for the food service and hospitality industries, including InfoGenesis POS systems, handheld POS systems, inventory and procurement solutions, automated food ordering solution and property management solutions for hotels and resorts.
