Sherif Dahan is new MSN Arabia, MSN Maghreb CEO
Dahan says he looks forward to working with business partners in the region
OTVentures, a subsidiary of Orascom Telecom, has announced the appointment of Sherif Dahan as Managing Director of MSN Arabia and MSN Maghreb.
Dahan was previously at LINKdotNET's Dubai office where he was the general manager of the company's Gulf operations.
"The choice of having Sherif Dahan as the Managing Director is inline with the formation of OTVentures and its plans to strengthen our leadership for digital and mobile assets. We trust he can take solid steps to further strengthen MSN Arabia and Maghreb's brand leadership and market share," said Hanan Abdel Meguid, CEO OTVentures.
According to MSN Arabia and MSN Maghreb, their footprint covers most of the Arab world. They say the Network attracts more than 10 million unique site visitors and generates more than a billion and a half monthly page views, per year.
"MSN Arabia is the jewel in the crown of the digital assets we operate within OTVentures. We were the first International bilingual portal to be launched and operated in the region. OTVentures is proud of what we have achieved so far and the change in management reaffirms our commitment to the MSN Brand, our business partners and to our site visitors," added Abdel Meguid.
With the recent formation of OTVentures, the cooperation between its various business units is designed to give MSN Arabia and MSN Maghreb a boost in content, reach and in the online user base.
