Brocade announces two-day conference in Dubai
The meeting will focus on the company’s vision for virtual data centres
Network solutions developer Brocade has announced that its Brocade Conference, to discuss its vision for virtualised data centres, will take place on November 29-30 at the Grosvenor House Hotel, Dubai.
The company is expecting over 1,500 delegates from across the EMEA to be there.
Attending the conference on behalf of Brocade are Brocade's CMO, John McHugh, and vice president - product marketing, Doug Ingraham who will be joined in Dubai by local regional manager, Ali Ahmar.
Also expected to attend are some of the company's partners including EMC, Fujitsu, HDS and HP.
"Having all of Brocade's partners in one room, at the same time, talking to delegates about how to optimise networking environments is a very, very rare occurrence and one that customers and prospects should relish," said Ali Ahmar, regional manager at Brocade. "The benefits of a unified network are clear in terms of increasing performance and enabling business productivity, not to mention reducing complexity, but just how to do this is sometimes confusing for companies. By coming to the Brocade Conference and having the opportunity to talk face-to-face with Brocade, Dell, EMC, HP, IBM on the same day will help business leaders understand the compelling events that are driving network change, and what actions they should be taking."
Central to discussions at the conference will be the topic of unifying the network architecture and strategy, enabling customers to virtualise their applications simply and how this can empower companies to design and deploy next generation networks.
In a recent study conducted by Brocade among 600 CIOs in the EMEA region in 2010, more than three-quarters of businesses across the EMEA are looking to consolidate their infrastructure in the next year.
