Link Development is presenting its turnkey collaboration solutions for businesses during this year’s exhibition. Link will be showcasing its business-ready intranet portal, Tempo, as well as the newest unified communications solutions based on Microsoft Lync Server 2010, at the Microsoft stand in Hall 7.
Microsoft Lync Server 2010 combines e-mail, instant messaging, web conferencing and voice communications within a single unified interface that is consistent across PC and mobile devices. “With the continuous change in the business climate and economy, it becomes increasingly crucial for enterprises to tap into the power of online collaboration for added value benefits such as increasing employee engagement and reducing the size of the employee/organisation gap,” says Irini Rafaat, Managing Director of LINK Development.
According to IDC, employees spend on average 40% of their time searching for information, while only 20% of them find what they are looking for. Request cycles can take weeks to complete and aren’t efficiently logged or traced. Visitors will be able to observe how the Tempo solution allows businesses to align and share information to encourage knowledge sharing across teams. Link will also demonstrate its ability to build cloud systems, such as bSolutions; a platform that offers Microsoft Dynamics CRM online.
