Epson packs a punch with printers

Printer vendor Epson has its eye on growing its regional business this week. The company believes GITEX TECHNOLOGY WEEK is an ideal opportunity to get in touch with customers from around the Middle East, especially those in sectors such as government, which continue to lead the way in IT spending.
“The Middle East region is an important growth market for Epson,” comments Khalil El-Dalu, General Manager for Epson Middle East. “It has huge potential and growth in many verticals, especially in the government and public sector. Also, the retail market is growing rapidly, especially in Gulf countries,” says El-Dalu.
Epson will be highlighting its new range of products, as well as using the huge pull of the event to meet face-to-face with many of its existing resellers, distribution and retail partners.
“We believe it is the right place to demonstrate our latest products and a good opportunity for us to meet with our distributors, resellers and customers,” he says.
Giving partners — and potential customers — the opportunity to get hands on with its products is one of the reasons the vendor values the show so highly.
As a result, it promises to have a bumper crop of printing, POS and projector products on display at its stand in Hall 4.
“We will be demonstrating the latest mono and colour laser printers at the exhibition,” explains El-Dalu. “We will also be featuring the new wireless projectors and the latest 3LCD technology projectors that are designed for the education and business sectors.”
