Nuqul Group goes with Oracle ERP
Jordanian conglomerate appoints Oracle as strategic ERP vendor
Jordanian conglomerate Nuqul Group has announced that it has appointed Oracle as its vendor partner for ERP, and will be rolling out Oracle solutions across the group.
The companies have signed a five year agreement, which will see Nuqul replace its current range of ERP solutions from different vendors with Oracle solutions for a range of business functions, including human capital, finance, supply chain, demand planning & forecasting, manufacturing and maintenance management; retail execution, performance management, budgeting & forecasting, integrated margin & operations planning and business intelligence systems.
Nuqul Group is a conglomerate of 30 companies, with over 5,500 employees, with activities in diverse sectors including as: construction, stationery, automotive, packaging and printing, converting and paper mills, and others.
Oracle and partners will also provide consulting services to the group to help with the deployment, which will begin with the group's companies in Egypt, before rolling out to core business units in Jordan, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Algeria and Morocco.
