The TRA said both services broke Bahrain's telecoms laws.

Bahrain authorities have ordered the suspension of two illegal voice services in the Kingdom.

The Telecommunications Regulatory Authroity (TRA) ordered ISPs in the country to block www.nonotalk.com and www.seefcall.com effective today.

The regulator said that both services are in breach of Bahrain's Telecommuications Law. Nonotalk offers consumers in the Kingdom an unlicensed public voice telephony service, while Seefcall provides a call back service, where users can buy credit online, and then make national and international VoIP calls.

The TRA said that both services were actively targeting Bahrain, by quoting prices for services in Bahraini Dinar.
