Computer-based training and assessment specialists Pearson VUE will be using this year’s GITEX TECHNOLOGY WEEK to reinforce its position as a worldwide leader in the field.

The company is planning to use the exhibition to attract new partners in the Middle East and to promote its complete training solutions to potential new partners. It describes the Middle East as a region of “high importance” for the company’s expansion strategy.

“We work with organisations of all sizes to create flexible, custom-built assessment solutions and deliver them in a secure and reliable testing environment,” says Hani Malouf, Marketing Manager at Pearson VUE. “We create a complete end-to-end or tailored solution to meet all of our customers’ assessment needs. Our clients come from a wide variety of sectors including finance, IT, medicine, government and education,” he adds.

Last year, the company highlighted a major deal with Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA). This year, the company is expected to announce even more partnerships that it has struck with both high-profile clients as well as smaller companies.

The company currently runs more than 5,000 testing centres around the world, and is hoping to attract even more partners at the show in order to expand the number of customers it serves in the 165 countries where it already operates.
