Infrastructure vendor Netgear has released a new range of wireless controller products that promises improved coverage, reliability and performance. The ProSafe 20-AP Wireless Controller WC7520 utilises a new kind of architecture that is intended to simplify deployments, and is backed by a lifetime warranty.

Netgear claims the ProSafe 20-AP wireless controller is specifically designed for the requirements of businesses, schools and hospitals with scalable performance that supports up to 1500 users, while managing 50 access points. The device itself is stackable up to three units and includes controller redundancy.

"Our new product combines the network management features of our enterprise products including mass firmware upgrades, centralised configuration options, and load-balancing to address the needs of organisations with different network needs and IT resources," said Ahmad Zeidan, Channel Sales Manager, NETGEAR Middle East. "As the GCC and Middle East market remains a receptive market to new technologies, we are confident that our new ‘ProSafe 20-AP Wireless Controller WC7520' will generate excellent response from regional institutions involved in business, education and healthcare industries."
