Samba releases iPhone app for mobile banking
iPhone and BlackBerry apps allow instant access to Samba Mobile banking services
Samba Financial Group have released their official iPhone and BlackBerry mobile applications, boosting the convenience factor of their mobile banking services.
iPhone and BlackBerry users will now have instant access to the Samba Mobile service that allows them check their bank accounts, make payments and transfer funds using the same username and login password as their existing online accounts. It's important to note that Samba's mobile banking services are also compatible with a range of PDAs and other mobile phones.
Keeping security in focus, Samba earlier launched 2nd factor authentication, which sees an electronic ‘token' generated to authenticate a user's identity each time they log in.
Samba customers can only access Samba mobile banking services if they hold a personal electronic authentication token, which can be applied for on Samba.com or through any of the bank's branches.
"Internet and Mobile Banking services are fast becoming spectacular gateways for information, sales, service and perhaps the most versatile channels for customer interaction. Mobile banking is a direct, convenient and hugely innovative service that proudly reaffirms Samba's place as an innovator in technology driven customer convenience," said Samba chairman Eisa Al Eisa in a company statement.
Samba customers can download the free SambaMobile iPhone application, which was released on August 20th, through Apple's App Store, while the BlackBerry app needs to be downloaded through Samba's online banking page.
