Operators, vendors and regulators invited to send in nominations for CommsMEA Awards

Nominations now open for CommsMEA Awards 2010
Last year's CommsMEA Awards winners will no doubt be keen to defend their positions at this year's ceremony.

Nominations are now open for the 5th edition of the CommsMEA Awards, the leading awards event for the region's telecoms sector.

The CommsMEA Awards recognise the operators, vendors, regulators and individuals that have made an outstanding contribution to the region's fast growing telecoms sector.

The event itself will take place on November 30 at a five star hotel in Dubai, with the winners collecting their awards during a gala dinner in front of the leading lights of the Middle East and Africa's telecoms sector.

This year, there are 15 awards with categories covering operators, vendors, regulators and application providers.

Companies interested in entering the awards can visit the dedicated awards website at www.itp.net/cmeaawards2010, which lists all necessary information, including the awards categories and nomination instructions. The nomination form can be downloaded from the home page.

The deadline for nominations is October 25, and entries will be judged by a panel of respected industry experts during the first week of November.

To help with the judging process, the CommsMEA team also invites feedback from the region's telecom users and regulators about the operators and services that they think deserve recognition at this year's awards.

In addition, the Customer Service Provider of the Year Award will also be open for nominations from CommsMEA and itp.net readers.
