ADNIP awards Oracle deal to Fujitsu Consulting
Fujitsu to deploy Oracle E-Business suite and Hyperion BI for Abu Dhabi conglomerate
Fujistu Consulting, the services arm of the Fujitsu Group, has been awarded a contract to deploy Oracle E-Business suite and BI for Abu Dhabi National Industrial Projects Co (ADNIP).
The two-year implementation project will bring a number of E-Business suite modules as well as Oracle's Hyperion business intelligence solution to ADNIP, to improve business processes across the whole group.
ADNIP operates in a number of commercial sectors, and the Oracle solutions will be used for a number of its companies, including Abu Dhabi Medical Devices Company (MEDECO), Abu Dhabi National Carpet Company (ADNC), Abu Dhabi National Paper Mills (ADNPM) and Business Enterprise Services (BES).
The group will look to achieve a number of benefits from the deployment, including standardisation, integration, simplification and streamlining of business processes, better use of staff time through cutting paperwork, adoption of best practices and improving customer service. ADNIP will also look to the business intelligence solution to improve insight and transparency into the business, and to improve strategic decision making.
The deployment will take place in two phases, with the first phase focusing on roll out of financials, distribution, Hyperion and HRMS, and the second phase deploying manufacturing and enterprise asset management (EAM) modules. The E-Business suite deployment will replace an existing ERP system. ADNIP will also roll out new hardware and infrastructure in support of the project.
