Foreign students at Yarmouk University will have access to ArabiCollege's online Arabic language learning resources.

Jordan's Yarmouk University has signed a agreement with online language teaching company ArabiCollege, to co-operate on Arabic language e-learning.

The agreement, which was signed by Dr Sultan Abu Orabi, president of Yarmouk University, and Mohammed Bamatraf CEO of ArabiCollege, will deliver ArabiCollege's live online Arabic language classes on a 24/7 basis, to enable non-Arabic speaking foreign students at Yarmouk to improve their Arabic language skills.

The two will co-operate on developing new online teaching materials for Arabic language, drawing on Yarmouk University's experience teaching Arabic to foreign students, with the academic staff of both organisations collaborating on the project. The two will also look to conduct conferences and events around Arabic language teaching.

Dr Hussein Obeidat, the Language Center Director stated: "The goal of this partnership is to keep students in touch with Arabic language 24/7 to improve their Arabic language skills extensively, all online whenever and wherever they are."
