New Vaio notebooks sport Arabesque design
VAIO notebooks will cost almost AED 5,000 in the United Arab Emirates
Sony Gulf has released a new line of VAIO notebooks with an arabesque textured theme that reflects the "region's cultural identity".
The 14" EA series notebooks are available in gold, pink and black with the special motif etched on the lid as well as the palm rest and touchpad of the device.
"The new look VAIO EA Series is launched at a significant time in the Middle Eastern region. The pride our core target audience takes in their traditions and rich culture has been the inspiration for the spectacular arabesque design of this notebook," said Dharmendra Lalai, head of IT and B2B Marketing Division, Sony Gulf. "With its launch timed ahead of the Eid festivities, we expect the Mystic Arabesque version of this series of notebooks to feature high on the Eid-Al-Fitr wish-list of the region's young consumers."
The Vaio EA series sport the Intel Core i5, ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5650 graphics, 1GB VRAM and a range of useful features including Quick Web Access that allows users to get online instantly without having to boot up the Windows OS.
The notebooks will be available from July 21st at Jumbo Electronics and other electronics stores for AED 4,995, and comes with a similarly patterned pouch, VAIO Bluetooth mouse and mouse covers.
