Distributor Comstor Middle East has celebrated two key achievements in the Middle East this month, after hitting $100 million of cumulative sales since its inception three years ago, and reaching its third anniversary of Middle East operations.

Comstor, a Westcon Group company, says it is now the largest distribution partner for Cisco in the countries it serves.

In September 2009, the company expanded into Egypt and Libya bringing the Comstor value proposition and access to over $100m of Cisco stock to the MENA region.

Renton DSouza, divisional manager, Comstor Middle East commented "Our difference is the passion we have for technology, our Cisco expertise and our ‘can do' attitude towards our partners. We know that to be the best distributor in the MENA region we need to focus our effort on our core competencies. By remaining focused purely on Cisco networking, convergence, security and wireless technologies by have a unique value proposition both to Cisco and our partners."
