UAE to get Cisco Entrepreneur Institute to drive SMB growth
Cisco and Knowledge Horizon to open institute to encourage entrepreneurs in the UAE
Cisco and training company Knowledge Horizon have joined up to launch a Cisco Entrepreneur Institute to serve the UAE.
The institute is intended to provide practical support and training for entrepreneurs in the country, to help them drive the growth of the SMB sector.
Knowledge Horizon will offer a range of courses and workshops, both classroom based and through distance learning, covering subjects including Starting a Business; Growing a Business; iExec Enterprise Essentials and Establishing an Entrepreneurial Mindset. Courses are available at a nominal fee to cover costs. The companies will also establish an ‘Entrepreneurs Oasis' website to support the courses.
Cisco already has Entrepreneur Institutes in Egypt, Jordan and Saudi Arabia, with 15 Institutes in total across the MENA and Levant region.
