HTC's customisable Android handset now available

HTC Tattoo launched in UAE
HTC Tattoo owners can design their own handset covers.

HTC has released its Android-based Tattoo handset in the UAE.

The phone is touted as being highly customisable, with both customisable screens and user-designed covers.

The handset features a 2.8 inch screen, hot buttons for popular social networking sites, 3.2 megapixel camera, 3.5mm stereo headset jack and expandable microSD memory. The HTC Sense user interface provides integrated communications tools and applications, and the phone is also compatible with Google applications such as Maps, Search, and Google Mail.

The Tattoo is priced at AED 1,599 ($435) or AED 1,699 ($462) with colour cover and a voucher for cover customization.
