Fujitsu moves Egypt country boss into channel role
Hussein Shehab to lead partner organisation and develop sales programme
Fujitsu Technology Solutions has appointed Hussein Shehab as its channel director for sales and operations in the Middle East in a move that will see him manage the company's partner-related affairs in the region.
As well overseeing Fujitsu's entire Middle East channel team, Shehab has been entrusted with the task of developing the Fujitsu Select Partner Programme across the region. The programme is designed to ensure channel capability, capacity and coverage.
The role is a newly-created one so it does not see him replacing anybody.
"Shehab's appointment to the new role comes at a crucial time when Fujitsu enhances its focus on the region's channel," stated Farid Al Sabbagh, managing director for Fujitsu Technology Solutions in the Middle East.
"Fujitsu is committed to our customers and channel partners in the region. Shehab brings immense experience to our partner community and will play a key role in driving Fujitsu's business further," he added.
Shehab joined Fujitsu Technology Solutions as country manager for Egypt four years ago. He helped to double the size of the Egyptian operation in addition to developing the company's existing channel community in Egypt.
Prior to that he spent six years building new channels and establishing a retail market for notebooks as product manager at Fujitsu Services Egypt.
