Aptec’s World Cup treat for Saudi resellers
Distributor kicks off Cisco KSA franchise with channel sales promotion
Track Distribution has commenced a ‘mega promotion' that will eventually see some of its Saudi reseller customers earn an all-expenses-paid trip to this year's FIFA World Cup in South Africa.
News of the promotion follows the recent launch of the Aptec-owned distributor's Cisco business in KSA after its contract with the networking vendor was expanded to include the kingdom.
At separate launch events held in Jeddah, Riyadh and Khobar during the past few weeks, more than 350 resellers received training and updates on Cisco programmes and offerings.
Shailendra Sainani, deputy general manager at Track, is hopeful that the introduction of the sales campaign will get the company's Cisco business off to a good start.
"The promotion is intended to get a rousing welcome from the Cisco channel for Track Distribution. We wanted to give back to our partners some valuable mementos for their support to Track. The success of events shows our commitment to our customers in Saudi Arabia and in the Gulf," he said.
As well as the World Cup package, Track is offering hotel stays and vouchers as part of the promotion, which it says will run until April 24th.
