ITQAN's Feras Al-Jabi believes this project further solidifies the integrator's presence in the energy sector

UAE-based contractor Maritime Industrial Services (MIS) has signed up integrator ITQAN Al Bawardi computers to upgrade and renew its various systems. ITQAN will also assist with MIS's move to adopt Microsoft's enterprise licensing model.

"MIS is growing and expanding at an impressively rapid rate and this upgrade is crucial to support our strategy for further growth and development. We need a strong technology base to supplement and radically transform our business processes and operations," said Osama Bader, MIS' Vice President, IT, Human Resources, and Administration.

In particular, Bader believes that the new licensing arrangements will provide significant cost savings  and offer a raft of benefits including better support and training.

"This project further solidifies ITQAN's presence in the energy sector, since ITQAN's start and take off point was from this vertical. This project signals the birth of a partnership between ITQAN and MIS that will form the basis for fruitful and successful ventures in the future," says Feras Al-Jabi, ITQAN General Manager.

"We in ITQAN are so excited about this leading initiative by MIS and look forward to a long-term partnership where we enable the technology to support MIS vision and business now and in the future. A market leader like MIS deserves the best IT infrastructure and systems that help the business grow and flourish," continues Al-Jabi.
