SquareOne out to slash enterprise printing costs

Reseller claims alliance with Ringdale allows it to help firms cut paper and toner waste

SquareOne out to slash enterprise printing costs
Minosh Salam says SquareOne is focused on serving the enterprise market in the Middle East.

SquareOne Technologies insists it is in a position to help customers drive down their printing costs following its tie-up with UK ‘green printing' specialist Ringdale earlier this year.

UAE-based SquareOne is marketing Ringdale's secure document output management portfolio in the Middle East region and claims it can enable enterprises to reduce paper and toner waste.

According to Ringdale, its FollowMe software provides organisations with an "all-in-one solution" comprised of pull printing, print roaming and print accounting that is vendor and device independent.

"The partnership with Ringdale further extends our professional services and support offering to provide our customers with advanced print management capabilities," said Ghassan Surkhi, director of sales at SquareOne.

"Print management is a new concept in our region, and we are seeing that customers want FollowMe to gain control over their printing environment and have a greater accountability of users and their activity," added Surkhi.

SquareOne has offices in Saudi Arabia and implements technology from vendors such as Citrix, Microsoft, Juniper and RSA Security.

Speaking to Channel Middle East following SquareOne's launch last year, director of practices, Minosh Salam, said the company would build its business on several pillars.

"We have four practices that we believe require definite skill sets and unless you are there all the time you cannot be focused. They are unified communications, application delivery, virtualisation and information security," he explained.
