Comguard makes database security available to VARs
Tie-up with Secerno will see distributor address Middle East, Africa and Indian subcontinent
IT security distributor Comguard has added Secerno to its product portfolio, strengthening its position in the database protection software market.
Comguard will make Secerno's products available to resellers in the Middle East and Africa, where the vendor already has some presence, as well as open the door to the Indian and Pakistani markets.
Officials at Dubai-based Comguard claim they were drawn to Secerno's next-generation security technology, which places an intelligent layer of protection at the database level and is available as both a hardware and virtual product.
"Our company is routinely recognised for its commitment to security and IT excellence, and we look for the same level of innovation in our partners," explained Jayadevan K, senior VP at Comguard.
"In Secerno, we have found the best provider of database security for all manner of threats and an offering that is continually able to evolve based on Secerno's superior approach to threat prevention and its patented technology," he added.
Steve Hurn, CEO at Secerno, believes Comguard's security expertise will allow it to reach new resellers throughout the MEA region and Indian subcontinent.
"These are strategic regions for Secerno, and we welcome the opportunity for this mutual partnership with one of the best providers," stated Hurn.
According to its website, Secerno has Middle East reseller partnerships with the likes of Encode and ITS² in the UAE and Security Matterz in Saudi Arabia.
