Cyberoam award winners show off their prizes at the UTM vendor’s recent partner event.

UTM vendor Cyberoam has handed out a number of accolades to its leading partners in the region at its first ever channel awards ceremony.

The formation of the event is testimony to the development of the company's channel network in the Middle East, according to Cyberoam, which is a division of Elitecore Technologies.

Almost 100 distributors and resellers attended the Dubai-based ceremony to learn the recipients of 30 different awards. Country-specific winners were announced for the major markets that the vendor covers, including the UAE, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia and Egypt.

Bulwark, Sariya and Gateworx were among the winners of the main distribution awards, while resellers such as Visiontech, Global Business Solutions and Arabian Computer Systems each grabbed one of the numerous reseller prizes on offer.

Hemal Patel, founder and CEO of Cyberoam, says the awards endorse the nominees' leadership skills in the security domain and the value added support and services they provide to the vendor's regional customer base.

"As a company steeped in a culture of innovation, these awards acknowledge our partners' efforts and commitment to delivering Cyberoam's model of identity-based security that customers can adopt to improve their information security and best practices," stated Patel.
