Sanyo Gulf is demonstrating its new, limited edition Xacti VPC-CG10 Gold dual camera, which is finished in gold colour. The camera ships with a carrying pouch that is studded with Swarovski crystals.
"We believe that this is the first camera that exclusively targets the Arab community, which speaks volumes about Sanyo's focus on the Arab world. It also shows our commitment to continuously offer high quality, cutting edge and eco-friendly products to cater to ever-growing consumer needs and demands that match with industry trends," says Takashi Hiro, Vice President of Sanyo Electric Co Japan and Chairman of Sanyo Gulf FZE.
"We are confident that Arab consumers will appreciate Sanyo's efforts to introduce a product that specifically targets them, incorporating key design elements to match their preference. Moreover, we expect this gold model will transform the traditional movie camera image into a style icon among fashion savvy consumers," adds Hiro.
The VPC-CG10 features a 3-inch widescreen LCD, features face chaser technology and is capable of high-speed sequential shooting. The camera can capture still images at a maximum resolution of 10-megapixels and boasts 5x optical zoom.
Sanyo is also promoting other products including a range of high-end projectors that are designed for large venues and the educational markets. The large venue line includes the PLC-XM150/150L and PLC-XM100/100L, with brightness ratings of 6000 & 5000 lumens respectively. Sanyo says these projectors offer the highest brightness rating in their class and feature a XGA resolution. These models also incorporate a new optical engine that uses an organic liquid crystal panel to enhance the life of the machine.
