Italian passive cabling solutions firm Belconn has been underlining its standing in the Middle East market with its presence at GITEX Technology Week.

Audrey Signorelli, Sales Area Manager at Belconn says that the Middle East arm of business accounts for over 15% of its global business and at the head of the company's strategic aims for the coming year is to grow its presence in this region.

"We are aiming to expand in the Middle East this coming year, we want to go to Oman and to Kuwait as a couple of very good examples of markets that we want," says Signorelli.

Belconn has been busy signing partnerships at GITEX with systems integration and distribution outfits that will allow it to penetrate the passive cabling markets in around the region.
