The Areej Group is celebrating a particularly successful GITEX Technology Week after the systems integrator signed a number of end-user contracts at the event.
"The big news for us is that we are launching this new printer [from Zebra] and at GITEX we have signed four contracts with four universities, we have one contract with Dubai Police and that is just from GITEX," proclaims Sadik N Sadik, CEO of the Areej Group.
Although the company was established relatively recently, it has been working hard to grow its base in the Middle East market and has enjoyed solid growth over the past few years despite the financial crisis. The Areej Group has also managed to sign some of the biggest brands in the market to its portfolio of products.
"We started in 2003 and today we are doing work on the ID card printers and the ID card designs we are supplying the printers and we are channel partners with Zebra and Motorola," says Sadik.
The Areej Group has also been working hard since its establishment to demonstrate that it is more than just a card printer distributor and that it can add serious value to its offerings to the customer.
Sadik points out that its customer support is very proactive and that its website ensures that any issues or problems that its customers have can be logged and attended to effectively.
"Our customers are like partners, because when they buy a printer from us, they're not just buying a printer, they'll be back for consumables and we keep in constant contact with them to make sure they are satisfied," says Sadik.
