Nasdaq-listed IT services company Virtusa is looking at forming strategic partnerships and alliances with key vendors and service providers in the region in the next year.
The company says it needs partners to assist it in delivering its value proposition more effectively to local businesses.
"The Middle East is a strategically important market for Virtusa. Analyst forecasts show that this region represents one of the fastest growing markets in the world," says Sai Satheesh, Director of Client Services.
"It presents an attractive opportunity for us to leverage our geographically-close advanced technology centres in India and Sri Lanka to deliver focused, cost-effective business solutions using our optimised global delivery model."
Over the past few years, the company has made significant investments in the region region and Virtusa has plans to invest more in the coming years to support its expansion.
The company expects GITEX Technology Week to provide a forum where it can interact with prospective customers and business partners, and to help it expand its current footprint in the region.
