Leading Saudi ISP Sahara Net has announced a deal that will see it sell and support video conferencing solutions from MegaMeeting.

The two companies announced the signing of the MOU at GITEX, with the aim of launching the first services by December. MegaMeeting produces web browser-based video conferencing that is designed to be easy to use.

Kais Al-Essa, CIO of Sahara Net, says: "We could not find a better solution that could give you up to 16 windows for 16 individuals virtually meeting in the same time with unlimited number of attendees to see those 16 live video feeds. The solution offers many potential cost cutting and performance improvements to organisations.

Al-Essa adds that this is the first time such a solution will be offered locally, meaning enhanced customer support.
