Structured cabling systems and cable television (CATV) network manufacturer Lantek hopes that GITEX will be the key to unlocking the lucrative markets of the Middle East.

The company's product lines and services include structured cabling connectivity such as keystone jacks, patch panels and splitters, couplers and taps for CATV networks.

Lantek's Director of Sales and Marketing, Richard Lin, says the Taiwan-based firm is exhibiting at GITEX "to develop business relationship and partnership in the region".

He hopes Lantek will get to know the market prices, competitors, major distributors and potential customers in the region by appearing a GITEX.

"There are many opportunities in Middle East for infrastructure cabling and these can help our company."
