Telephony firm Aastra is now showing its latest solutions in IP telephony, call centers, video conferencing and fixed and wireless phones at this year's GULFCOMMS event.

President of Dubai-based Aastra Telecom Middle East, Peter Hofman, says: "We are exhibiting for the second time since Aastra took over Ericsson's enterprise business in May 2008. We are present with our premium sales partner KKE, based in Dubai Silicon Oasis."

Hofman says that GITEX is a great opportunity for IT and telecom vendors to reach the consumers as well as SMBs and enterprise customers.

He adds that Aastra's new award-winning Hi-Q audio technology, with enhanced audio performance and voice clarity are also on show, and that a next generation communication system for small offices will be launched on 20th October at Zabeel's Vendor Theatre.
