Etisalat has kicked off this year's GITEX Technology Week with a new slogan that puts the customer at the core of the company's message
Despite showcasing an array of technology and services including triple play and fixed broadband with speeds of up to 100MBps, telecom operator Etisalat has kicked off this year's GITEX Technology Week with a new slogan that puts the customer at the core of the company's message.
Etisalat is busy presenting a range of business and consumer communication solutions under the theme ‘It is all about You' at GULFCOMMS, GITEX Shopper and the GULFCOMMS conference.
At its exhibition stand located in Zabeel Hall, the company is offering visitors the chance to explore and experience state-of-art technologies that the company claims "outline the future of telecommunication in the region".
Etisalat is using live demonstrations and simulations to show how technology touches and enhances all aspect of its customers' lives, whether at home, at work, or on-the-move.
For example, a dedicated part of the stand showcases a "comprehensive digital home experience" that will introduce a new era of household communication and entertainment to end users. Billed as "eLife", the offering, which is based on a fibre-to-the-home network, will open up new technologies for consumers through its high speed broadband network, which will be made available to all fixed line customers and UAE households by end of 2011.
Etisalat is also demonstrating triple play, fixed broadband with speeds of up to 100Mbps, a new age multi-media phone, as well as a fixed line phone that customers can use to browse the internet.
Continuing the theme of ultra-fast broadband, Etisalat is also demonstrating 4G technologies, along with the latest HSPA+ device which provides internet connectivity on-the-move with a speed of up to 21MBps.
"With a core focus on customer's interest, Etisalat strives to customise its solutions that fit the customers' changing needs, while providing the benefits of convenience, coverage and value," says Essa Al Haddad, Etisalat's Chief Marketing Officer.
For business users, Etisalat's stand features a dedicated enterprise services section showcasing solutions that provide business connectivity, business mobility, and managed ICT services.
