Business intelligence comes with an ‘i’
Software developer Focus Softnet is putting the spotlight on its comprehensive enterprise resource planning (ERP) system at GITEX Technology Week
Software developer Focus Softnet is putting the spotlight on its most comprehensive enterprise resource planning (ERP) system at GITEX Technology Week - its new ‘i' range. The system now features an intelligence tool kit powered by a material and manufacture resource planning engine designed to cater to the SMB segment.
Headquartered in Dubai Internet City and with 21 offices across the GCC region, Focus can boast of a long and successful association with the GITEX brand, having participated in the exhibition for the last 13 years. This year, like many of its rivals, the firm is targeting vertical-specific portions of the SMB segment which are looking for better reporting capabilities and more customisable data - an option which can only be delivered through applications like business intelligence.
Ali Hyder, Chief Executive Officer of Focus Softnet says: "Our participation at GITEX year after year has been very successful. GITEX, being one of the largest ICT events in the Middle East, is a perfect forum for us to promote our winning solutions to a large audience, who visit GITEX from across the globe. We plan to focus on growing our business further and expand our reach across the MENA region. This year, we plan to demonstrate the unique features of Focus I to our customers and partners and show them the benefits and cost savings of implementing this solution."
He adds: "For the last two years, Focus has been concentrating on vertical specific solutions with our educational logistic solutions. To add to our internally developed solutions, we have also tied up with industry leaders in car leasing and rental solutions to offer our backend ERP with integrated solution for Car Rental Leasing. We have already successfully deployed this solution for Bin Omeir Holding (Fast Rent-A-Car) and Budget Rent-A-Car in Bahrain."
Focus has enjoyed considerable growth in recent years and has now established fully-owned subsidiaries in Kuwait, Bahrain and Saudi Arabia. The vendor recently opened its fourth UAE at Grosvenor Business Tower in the TECOM Dubai.
