Jihad Youssef, Genius Computer Technology’s (GCT) General Manager says his firm plans to use GITEX Technology Week to promote Edimax Technology’s range of networking products.
Jihad Youssef, Genius Computer Technology's (GCT) General Manager says his firm plans to use GITEX Technology Week to promote Edimax Technology's range of networking products.
GCT is the regional partner for the brand in the region and targets the small office/home office and small-to-medium enterprise markets.
"Since Edimax's establishment in Taiwan in 1986, it has grown to be one of the leading vendors of advanced network communication products in Asia, Europe and the USA. The company is now keen on expanding its operations to the Middle East, CIS and Africa," Youssef points out.
"Together, Edimax Technology and GCT create an excellent partnership and offer outstanding products and services to its customers," he adds.
The company's key product lines are routers, modems, switches, WLAN adapters, access points as well as Network Attached Storage (NAS) devices, Network Access Controllers (NAC), Digital Media Adapters (DMA) print servers and 3G Routers.
"As the regional partner of Edimax, GCT will be displaying the entire Edimax range," says Youssef.
Edimax is participating with its partner GCT for several reasons this year. "Branding is a constant and ongoing process, Genius Computer Technology would like to be more accessible to customers and to establish a two-way dialogue with partners," says Youssef.
Other objectives include signing up additional distributors and partners.
GITEX is a vital event as far as Edimax is concerned because the trade show has been instrumental in helping the firm reach its target markets and partners in a short span of time.
