Power and cooling specialist APC is treating stand visitors to a ‘3 Steps Tour' in lieu of traditional booth activity.
Guests will be given a guided tour of what APC considers its three most important data centre and power protection solutions, with APC experts on hand to demonstrate and provide technical details for the systems on display.
The three topics include hot aisle containment systems, APC Software systems for the data centre and data centre cooling.
"We'll also be signing up resellers on site who would like to be part of the APC channel community, and a lucky draw for exciting prizes will add excitement each day," says Tushar Choudhury, Marketing Manager for the Middle East, Pakistan and Turkey at APC by Schneider Electric. Choudhury adds that GITEX is a key part of APC's annual marketing strategy, improving its brand visibility throughout the Middle East and providing a platform to demonstrate its solutions to the enterprise community.
While lead generation is always a key component of tradeshows such as GITEX, he notes that it's an excellent venue to show off the firm's extensive green IT portfolio.

APC's main product lines include InfraStruXure data centres on demand, which integrate power, cooling, rack, management, security and services. This is available for any IT environment, according to the firm. The manufacturer's other product line is the Smart-UPS line, which it touts as being the most popular UPS product in the world for servers, storage and networks.
"APC has been exhibiting at GITEX for the last 15 years. It is a key exhibition and lead generation platform for APC and offers us the opportunity to demonstrate our product portfolio. It is also an opportunity to meet with our existing channel partners and sign up new partners in the region," ends Choudhury.
