Secure document printing is the name of the game for independent software vendor and systems integration specialist GET Group at this year's GITEX Technology Week.
The company will be out in force to showcase some of its major product lines, including secure document printing solutions that facilitate IDs, customs valuations and e-payment, as well as a number of Adobe-based solutions.
The printing products are part of GET Group's Passports and ID division, which manages all types of highly-secured documents, such as passports, national ID cards and driving licences. Its technology is built on proprietary products from Japanese printer specialists co-developed with the Toppan Group for which it has exclusive rights.
"We are looking to reach out to current and potential customers and to assure our position as one of the local market leaders," says Fadi Awaida, Business Development and Marketing Director. "GITEX has always been a big event for us in terms of promoting business in a growing region like the Middle East."
GET Group boasts more than 20 years in the industry and, in addition to its secure printing arm, the company operates an IT solutions division.
Awaida says that GET Group is hoping to achieve a number of things from appearing at GITEX, including greater brand promotion, higher market exposure and access to industry executives. It also hopes the event can help it to develop new leads. "The Middle East market is the centre of our worldwide operations and the place where all the business starts," he concludes.
