Emitac Mobile Solutions to bring SAP to BlackBerry users

Emitac Mobile Solutions (EMS) has signed a deal to bring 3i Consulting's SAP solutions for BlackBerry to customers in the Middle East and Africa

Emitac Mobile Solutions (EMS) has signed a deal to bring 3i Consulting’s SAP solutions for BlackBerry to customers in the Middle East and Africa.

The exclusive deal will see EMS offer 3i’s Mobile Workplace application to BlackBerry smartphone users, which allows SAP transaction processing while on the move.

The applications is a SAP certified native Advanced Business Application Programming (ABAP) add-on, which gives mobile access to SAP approval tasks, for both online tasks and offline data-entry. The solution does not require any extra server hardware or handset software, through a native install on the SAP server.
