Almoayyed reinforces offering with Avaya hardware

Marketing Avaya’s range of Integral Communication Server solutions in Bahrain after tying up with the vendor’s regional distributor Turovis

Almoayyed Communications — the telecom enterprise of Almoayyed Commercial Services (ACS) — is marketing Avaya’s range of Integral Communication Server solutions in Bahrain after tying up with the vendor’s regional distributor Turovis.

Istanbul-based Turovis serves as the sole distributor for Avaya’s Integral 5 and Integral 55 series of products in Turkey and the GCC.

The company’s international sales manager Evren Guloksuz recently gave a technical seminar on the strength of the solutions to more than 100 key decision makers and consultants in Bahrain.

Almoayyed, the largest ICT group in Bahrain, believes the addition of the new products will strengthen its position in the corporate market, particularly among small and medium businesses that are looking to simplify complex communication networks.

Alexander Thomas, general manager at ACS, says the company is already into providing office automation, telecommunication and audio-visual equipment and solutions, but the launch of the Avaya solutions will reinforce its telecom offering.

“Having the local market expertise helps us in identifying suitable partners and we’ll continue to scout for and leverage appropriate business opportunities, which will help us to further extend our market clout,” he said.
