New Middle East Oracle users group announced
Middle East Oracle Applications Users Group to begin operating in April
The Oracle Applications Users Group (OAUG) has announced that it will form a Middle East chapter at the start of next month.
The Middle East Oracle Applications Users Group will be inaugurated at the OAUG Connection Point conference in Dubai on 1st-2nd April, to represent the interests of Oracle users and provide a forum to share knowledge.
The group, the largest Oracle user group in the world, will aim to provide members with training and education to get more from their Oracle solutions, give them updates on upcoming technology and provide a stronger voice for communication with Oracle.
Members of the MEOAUG will also gain access to the OAUG Knowledge Factory, an online knowledge base generated by users to exchange knowledge and experience.
Jan Wagner, committee chair of the OAUG EMEA and OAUG immediate past president commented: “According to a recent survey of OAUG members, members of the Oracle community were found to get more value from their Oracle investments than the general customer population. The OAUG also found a great demand for its services throughout the Middle East and is responding by creating the Middle East Oracle Applications Users Group to expand our international outreach.”
The Middle East group will join a growing network of international affiliates including Australia, Japan, Netherlands, Germany and Pakistan.
