Juniper modifies channel partner programme
Tweaks its J-Partner Programme in an effort to provide integrators with greater flexibility
High-end networking vendor Juniper has tweaked its J-Partner Programme in an effort to provide integrators with greater flexibility in the way they work with the company.
Among the changes are a series of new dedicated schemes for consultants and managed services providers, as well as a programme for partners targeting the service provider segment.
Juniper has also expanded the product specialisation opportunities available through the programme to keep pace with its growing hardware portfolio. All of its products are now accessed through one of three specialisation areas covering advanced security, network infrastructure — including its new EX Series Ethernet switches — and advanced network infrastructure.
“The enhancements that we are announcing place even greater emphasis on recognising and rewarding our channel partners for the full-spectrum of sales and service value they bring to the table, and align with the various business models they deploy to add that value,” claimed Frank Vitagliano, senior VP for worldwide channels at Juniper.
“This approach is designed to grow our business with existing partners and attract new partners to deliver the right technology and service solutions to customers with proven business acumen and best practices,” he added.
To help J-Partners build service-rich margin practices, Juniper has introduced a set of services specialisations around the areas of ‘design, implement and operate’. A new high-performance networking designation has also been made available to partners capable of teaming with Juniper for high-level strategic sales opportunities.
