BSG brings Indian vendor to region

Pens an exclusive distribution agreement with Trackon Telematics for the entire Middle East region

Software distribution outfit Business Systems Group (BSG) has penned an exclusive distribution agreement with Trackon Telematics for the entire Middle East region.

Trackon Telematics, an Indian firm which provides fleet management solutions (FMS), has given BSG authorisation to sell and support its line of products across the whole of the region. As a value added distributor BSG has also been afforded the freedom to approach the end-user in either a direct or indirect fashion, the latter of which would be through its chain of value added resellers.

BSG claims that it has both the resources and experience to effectively develop and grow the market in the Middle East for Trackon Telematics. Raheel Khan, regional director at BSG is also confident in the worth of the Trackon’s FMS to its overall product portfolio and that the agreement will be mutually beneficial.

"With the integration of GPS and telematics data together with real-time vehicle location information, BSG enhances its end-to-end service chain optimisation solutions for the real time service enterprise,” said Khan. “Working with Trackon Telematics, we will be able to engage much more effectively with customers requiring fleet management functionality."

Vinod Kumar, managing director at Trackon Telematics says that the partnership will add to the quality of solutions available in the Middle East transport vertical. “With this alliance our joint offering has the potential to revolutionise the transportation and fleet management business in the region,” said Kumar.

“Both of our organisations are aligned towards facilitating operational excellence for our respective clients and this is another milestone in bringing high quality and the most advanced technology to our customers,” concluded Kumar.
