International Turnkey Systems Group signed as Platinum Partner for telepresence vendor

Tandberg has announced that it has signed a partnership agreement with systems integrator International Turnkey Systems Group (ITS), to bring its range of telepresence and video conferencing solution to the region.

Under the agreement, ITS will work with Tandberg to provide its communications systems and software to customers in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Lebanon and Jordan.

ITS has also been award Platinum Partner status by the vendor, and will focus on offering systems to customers in a range of enterprises in the region.

Khaled Faraj Al-Saeid, managing director and general manager of ITS said: “By including the Tandberg offering in our range, we are confident that we are able to provide even more comprehensive solutions to future and current challenges facing our clients. ITS realises the value that videoconferencing brings and this is why we have opted to invest in opening a new unit exclusively for visual communications.”

Geir Olsen, Tandberg President for Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) said: “As a company we are dedicated to not only growing our own business, but also that of local enterprises. Therefore, it was a logical choice to strategically partner with a company that has a wide reach into, and understanding of, local markets. In addition, ITS is a stable player, respected for its integrity and expertise.”

Olsen said that Tandberg also intends to further increase its own staff in its Dubai office, having already doubled headcount in the GCC in the past year.
